I espouse the Art of Peace, as expounded by Morehei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido, (Aikido means the Art of Peace). It isa martial art but that is simply a certain expression of a particular Way. It is the physical expression, which is also expressed in the spiritual, mental and emotional realms. You may understand that the entire being needs training in the art of peace, reprogramming, so to speak.

"One does need buildings, money, power or status to practice the Art of Peace. Heaven is right where you are standing, and that is the place to train"
-Morehei Ueshiba

It is a kinesthetic zen practice of training the several bodies to a state of at-one-ment with the force of the universe, known as Ki. Life force, primal energy or the prescence of god. It is within all things, from stones to air, in animals and plants and the only difference is the individual expression.

"To truly implement the Art of Peace you must be able to sport freely in the manifest, hidden and divine realms"

What Morehei said about Aikido is that if you have harmed your adversary, then you have lost the battle. Essentially, this means that one should be fully mastered enough to be able to disarm, or to stop a violent attack without any harm coming to the assailant. A great lesson for police and armies. Morehei himself could disarm and keep at bay any number of attackers, this at the age of 80.

"A true warrior is always armed with three things: The Radiant Sword of Pacification; The Mirror of Bravery, Wisdom and Friendship; and the precious jewel of enlightenment"

When you consider that violent people are actually hurt people, and that violence is an illness and not a ´bad´thing, then this makes perfect sense. It is up to we who are healthy to help these people, and it is up to all of us to cure ourselves of whatever violence may still be within us.

language aproprism - the word 'en' means being. thus the word enlighten can be seen as the light between beings. Indicating that enlightenment is a shared and not a personal state

everything I say here is my own perspective, although of course its all correct because I am saying it. I am not particularly concerned with other people´s conceptions of right and wrong, I just say what I say when I am saying it. I might disagree with myself tommorrow. Actually, I really dislike the dichotomy right/wrong anyway .. so what I say is not necessarily either, its just what I say.

if you don´t like what I say or you do like what I say then write to me and say that you like what I say or don´t like what I say or even tell me what you say about the things I am saying... .. ...
